Copy a device-sized frame into Figma

Copy a screen-sized frame from Rotato instead of looking up dimensions separately.

Copy the frame

1. Select the device and choose its intended orientation.
2. Open its screen-dimensions action in the sidebar header.
3. Choose the Figma Frame copy option.
4. Paste into your Figma file and use that frame for your design.

The same menu can copy dimensions as text or SVG. On a multi-display device, check that you are using the intended display.

Bring the design back

Export your artwork and import the image, or use the Rotato Figma plugin. Compare the edges of the design with the screen so you catch cropping before composing the final shot.
