How to add iPhone screenshots to Figma using Rotato

Use a connected iPhone as the source for a mockup inside Figma.

Capture from the phone

1. Open Rotato and run the Rotato plugin in Figma.
2. Connect and unlock the iPhone with a USB data cable.
3. Choose the phone tab in the plugin when the device appears.
4. Show the screen you want on the phone and click Snapshot.
5. Click Place on Page to add the result to Figma.

If the phone does not appear, check the connection in Rotato and follow screen mirroring troubleshooting.

Use an exported screenshot instead

Import an existing screenshot onto a device in Rotato, render it, and drag the result into Figma. This is useful when the phone is unavailable or you need to repeat the same capture later.
