How to record or screenshot your iPhone's screen directly

Record the interaction on your iPhone and use it as the screen content of a mockup.

Record the phone

1. Connect the iPhone to the Mac with a data-capable USB cable.
2. Unlock the phone and accept the normal trust prompt if needed.
3. Click Record in Rotato's toolbar.
4. Start recording in the recorder window and perform the interaction on the phone.
5. Stop, trim if needed, and choose Use to add the recording.

Place it on the timeline

Select the device and inspect its Screen track. Adjust when the recording starts and how long it is visible. Device and camera movement can have separate timing.
