How to record or screenshot your iPhone's screen directly

Forget about Airdrop - just plug in your iPhone and start streaming to Rotato

Plug in your iPhone and record straight from your iPhone

How to do it

  1. Connect your iPhone to your Mac via USB
  2. Click the Record button in the toolbar
  3. In the recorder window, click the Record button and use your phone
  4. Click Stop and trim your video if you need to
  5. Click Use to add the recorded video to the device in Rotato

Size

Make sure you use a device that has the same size as the one you selected in Rotato

Universal size

If you don't have a matching device, you can use the Universal size when you stream your screen.

Screen recording file

The recorded video will be saved as a MOV file you can use outside of Rotato.
