Adjusting quality and memory usage

Use a lower render quality or smaller output while iterating, then check the final settings before delivery.

Adjust Render Boost

1. Open Rotato → Settings & License.
2. Open Settings and find Render Boost.
3. Choose a lower level if memory use is too high.
4. Render a short sample and inspect small text and device edges.

Render Boost can render at a higher working resolution before scaling to the chosen output size. A higher level can improve detail but uses more memory.

Adjust the output

Review the movie resolution and frame rate in the render dialog. Use the dimensions your destination needs rather than a larger size by default.

Long source recordings and several devices can add to the workload. Keep the original project, and use a short section or simpler copy when diagnosing a rendering problem.
