Adding text labels
Tell your story and point out your benefits with text labels - with 3D effects!
Labels are great for explaining your design, or adding calls to actions. You can use any font on your system.
How to do it
- In the sidebar, go to Labels, expand the section
- Click on the + button where you want to add a label
Using fonts
You can use any font on your system. In the Looks sidebar, click the Fonts dropdown and choose the font. You can also change the size and the color of the labels.
Animating the label levitation
You can animate the label levitation. Simply set the levitation before creating a new keyframe.
Animating the label contents and other poperties
You can not currently animate the label positions or their contents. This is on our list, though, and we'd love to hear from you if you're looking for this.
Creating 2D stand-alone labels (titles)
This article discusses 3D labels that follow the 3D device mockup. They are not 2D titles. You can create 2D titles in the Rotato Beta, or in our experimental video editors with full templates - Rotato Edit or Rotato Video.
Enable the beta (Settings>Beta) to get 2D titles.
Not seeing labels
A few scenes currently don't have labels. This is mostly laptops, the universal fits-all scene, and scenes with multiple devices. It's on our list to bring labels to these scenes.
Enable the beta (Settings>Beta) to use labels with any scene.
