Make a jump cut between camera views

Switch angles instantly, or hold a view between movements.

Use Jump Cut when you want to switch to another angle without animating the path between the two views.

Make a cut

  1. Create the camera animation with the two views you want.
  2. Select the animation in the timeline.
  3. Enable Jump Cut in its inspector.
  4. Play across the cut and check when the new view appears.

Hold a view instead

For a pause after a move, leave a gap before the next camera animation. The camera holds its state in that gap.

A cut and a hold solve different timing problems: the cut changes the view abruptly; a hold gives the viewer time to stay with a view. Check screen clips and titles separately so they remain visible for the intended duration.
