Find and copy screen dimensions

Start with the device's screen dimensions so your design fills its display without accidental cropping.

Copy the screen dimensions

1. Select the device in the Devices list or canvas.
2. Open the screen-dimensions action in its sidebar header.
3. Choose the copy format: plain text dimensions, SVG, or a Figma frame.
4. Paste into your design tool and use it as the starting size for your artwork.

The dimensions reflect the visible screen orientation. Choose your orientation before copying them. On devices with more than one display, check which display you are preparing artwork for.

Screen size versus export size

Screen dimensions describe the image inside the device. Your exported movie or snapshot has its own canvas dimensions, which also include the background and space around the device.
