Scrolling an image on the mockup display

Animate a tall screenshot directly, so you can reveal a long page without recording a manual scroll.

Set up the image

1. Select the device and import the original tall screenshot into Screen.
2. Find Scroll in the selected device's screen controls.
3. Adjust it to choose the first part of the page to show.

Keep the original image as a still. You do not need to slice it into separate images or make a video first.

Animate the scroll

1. Move the playhead to the start of the scroll.
2. Use Add screen scroll in the device group's timeline add menu.
3. Select the starting edge of the scroll block and set the first scroll position.
4. Select the ending edge and set the final position.
5. Adjust the block's length and easing, then play it.

The Screen Scroll track is independent of camera motion and device movement. Leave space before the scroll if viewers need time to read the top of the page.

Check the framing

Scrub through the scroll and check the first and last lines you want to show. If no scroll range is available, check whether the image is actually taller than the display after fitting.
