Export WebP and AVIF images

Choose WebP or AVIF in the still-image export options to prepare images for the web.

Export a web image

1. Move the playhead to the desired frame.
2. Click Image.
3. Choose WebP or AVIF in the image format options.
4. Choose the output size. For WebP or AVIF, adjust compression if needed, then click Save.
5. Open the file in the app or browser where it will be used.

Compare quality and size

Inspect small text and device edges at the actual display size. Compare file sizes using the same pixel dimensions; a smaller canvas is a separate change from choosing another format.

Use PNG when the receiving workflow requires it. Keep the editable project so you can export another format later.
