Make your first mockup

Make your first mockup with one device and one screenshot. You can add motion once the still looks right.

Choose a device

1. Open Rotato and choose Devices in the Templates window.
2. Choose the device that fits your design. Download it if prompted, then open it.
3. Select the device on the canvas or in the Devices list in the sidebar.

Add your design

1. Drag a screenshot onto the device screen. You can also use Screen in the selected device's inspector to choose or paste media.
2. Check the screen preview in the sidebar. If the design is cropped, compare its dimensions with the device's screen dimensions.
3. For a landscape design, follow landscape mode.

Frame and style the shot

Use Camera to adjust the overall view. Use the selected device's Position & Scale controls to move that device within the scene. These are separate edits: moving the camera changes the view of every device.

Choose the device color and Clay setting in Appearance. Choose a background in the scene's Background controls.

Save your first image

Click Image and save the result. Save the editable project too, so you can come back and try another angle.

Next, make your mockup move or add another device.
