Export a PNG image with a transparent background

Blend in nicely with other design elements using a transparent PNG

How to do it

  1. Position the camera so you get the angle you want
  2. In the Looks toolbar, click the checkered background color
  3. Click the Snapshot button in the toolbar
  4. Drag out your image from the Export area at the bottom right

You can control the size of exported PNG images in Preferences. The default is 4K

You can check if any image on your Mac has a transparent background by selecting in Finder, then hitting Space
